Mediplast offers wound drains both as complete sets and as individual drainage catheters in various designs. Our own brands include well-known product names such as Bellovac, Exudrain, and Abdovac. In addition, we represent the Italian company Redax and market their wound drains throughout the Nordic region.
Flat fluted Silicone Drain
The silicone drain, which is a flat channel drain, features a solid core with four channels running along its entire length. The external grooves allow drainage along the full length of the drain, thereby minimizing tissue ingrowth and reducing discomfort for the patient when the wound has healed and the drain needs to be removed.
