BioFlo PICC fra Spectrum Vascular er den første PICC af sin slags med Endexo-teknologi, hvilket giver et kateter, der er mere modstandsdygtigt over for ophobning af blodkomponenter (blodplader og tromber)1. Denne nye, banebrydende teknologi er til stede gennem hele kateterets skaft og for kateterets levetid. BioFlo PICC fås både med PASV Valve Technology (Pressure Activated Safety Valve) og i ikke-ventil konfiguration. BioFlo PICC med PASV Valve er det første kateter, der kombinerer fordelen ved reduceret trombeophobning med en patenteret ventil designet til automatisk at modstå tilbagestrømning og reducere blodrefluks inde i kateteret. BioFlo PICC’er er power-injectable op til 325 psi.

BioFlo Power Injectable PICC up to 325 psi, Stainless Steel Guidewire. BioFlo PICC is the first and only PICC manufactured with Endexo Tehnology, a permanent, non-eluting integral polymer blended into the polyurethane of the catheter shaft. Endexo Technology makes the catheter material more resistant to the accumulation of blood components (platelets and thrombus). BioFlo PICC advanced features such as large lumen diameters allow to deliver the power injection flow rates required for contrast-enhanced CTs compatible with up to 325 psi CT injectors. PICC lines are available in both Non-Valved and PASV-valved versions. PASV Valve Technolgy is designed to automatically resist back flow and reduce blood reflux on the inside of the catheter that can lead to catheter-related complications. PICC line reatures clear extension tubes for early visualization of blood return, short reverse taper which is designed to minimize blood loss a the isertion site and radiopaque catheter material for visualization under fluoroscopy.
