Foam Dressing
Mediplast offers foam dressings in polyurethane. The dressings are available in three different versions: Non-adhesive foam dressing, A foam dressing for effective absorption of wound exudate from moderately to significantly exuding wounds. Foam dressing with silicone, An adhesive foam dressing with super absorbents for effective management of heavily exuding wounds. Foam dressing with silicone and adhesive border, An adhesive foam dressing with superabsorbents for effective absorption of wound exudate from copiously exuding wounds.
Foam dressing non-adhesive
Non-adhesive Foam Dressing for effective absorption of wound exudate from moderately to significantly exuding wounds.
Benefits:
• Flexible and easy to apply
• Can be cut to size
• Works under compression*
• Breathable and absorbs excess exudate*
• Outer layer of PU film provides an effective barrier against bacteria*
and helps to create a moist environment for wound healing
• Gentle on the surrounding skin
• Can remain in place for up to 7 days (depending on the condition of the wound)
