Otology
Our high-quality otology product range includes disposable suction tips, aural speculums, scalpels and suction control handles. The suction tips are made from medical grade stainless steel and are colour coded according to size for ease of use. With Mediplast’s unique suction control handle connecting system it is easy to change suction tips during ongoing surgery or examination. Many of the suction tips are angled to enable a better view and to facilitate work with a microscope, and they can easily be bent without losing suction power.
Intratympanic needle
Specially designed needle for safer and easier transtympanic injections to the middle ear. The needle is 90 mm long and has a specially designed sharpened tip end which is 2 mm long and holds an outer diameter of only 0,4 mm. The principle of “tube in tube” is used to create a natural stop against the tympanic membrane when injecting.
