PICC‑lijnen
De BioFlo‑PICC van Spectrum Vascular is de eerste PICC‑lijn met Endexo‑technologie, waardoor de katheter beter bestand is tegen de accumulatie van bloedbestanddelen (bloedplaatjes en trombus). Deze innovatieve technologie is in de gehele katheterschacht aanwezig en blijft actief gedurende de volledige levensduur van de katheter. De BioFlo‑PICC is beschikbaar met PASV‑kleptechnologie (Pressure Activated Safety Valve) en als niet‑gevalveerde uitvoering. De BioFlo‑PICC met PASV‑klep is de eerste katheter die de voordelen van verminderde trombusvorming combineert met een gepatenteerde klep die automatisch terugstroming tegengaat en bloedreflux in de katheter beperkt. BioFlo‑PICC‑lijnen zijn geschikt voor power‑injectie tot 325 psi.
BioFlo Hybrid PICC MST Kit
BioFlo PICC is the first and only PICC manufactured with Endexo Tehnology, a permanent, non-eluting integral polymer blended into the polyurethane of the catheter shaft. Endexo Technology makes the catheter material more resistant to the accumulation of blood components (platelets and thrombus). BioFlo PICC advanced features such as large lumen diameters allow to deliver the power injection flow rates required for contrast-enhanced CTs compatible with up to 325 psi CT injectors. PICC lines are available in both Non-Valved and PASV-valved versions. PASV Valve Technolgy is designed to automatically resist back flow and reduce blood reflux on the inside of the catheter that can lead to catheter-related complications. PICC line reatures clear extension tubes for early visualization of blood return, short reverse taper which is designed to minimize blood loss a the isertion site and radiopaque catheter material for visualization under fluoroscopy.
