The BioFlo PICC from Spectrum Vascular is the first PICC of its kind with Endexo Technology, providing a catheter more resistant to the accumulation of blood components (platelets and thrombus) 1. This novel, disruptive technology is present throughout the catheter shaft, and for the life of the catheter. The BioFlo PICC is available with both PASV Valve Technology (Pressure Activated Safety Valve) and in non-valved configuration. The BioFlo PICC with PASV Valve is the first catheter that combines the reduced thrombus accumulation benefit with a patented valve designed to automatically resist backflow and reduce blood reflux on the inside of the catheter. The BioFlo PICCs are power injectable up to 325 psi.

The BioFlo Midline Catheter is the only midline with Endexo Technology, providing a catheter material more resistant to platelet aggregation1. Midline catheters are power-injectable and available in multiple kit configurations to meet clinicians’ needs. The BioFlo Midlines are power injectable up to 325 psi.

Endexo Technology is a permanent, non-eluting polymer that is “blended” into our proprietary BioFlo catheters. Endexo Technology is utilized throughout the catheter including the extraluminal, intraluminal and catheter tip surfaces. Endexo Technology remains present for the life of the catheter, making the catheter more resistant to thrombus accumulation2.
