Schuimverband

Mediplast biedt schuimverbanden van polyurethaan. De verbanden zijn verkrijgbaar in drie varianten: Niet‑klevend schuimverband, een schuimverband voor een effectieve absorptie van wondexsudaat bij matig tot sterk exsuderende wonden. Schuimverband met siliconen, een klevend schuimverband met superabsorberende deeltjes voor een effectieve behandeling van sterk exsuderende wonden. Schuimverband met siliconen en kleefrand, een klevend schuimverband met superabsorberende deeltjes voor een effectieve absorptie van wondexsudaat bij zeer sterk exsuderende wonden.

Benefits:
• Flexible and easy to apply
• Can be cut to size
• Works under compression*
• Breathable and absorbs excess exudate*
• Outer layer of PU film provides an effective barrier against bacteria*
and helps to create a moist environment for wound healing
• Gentle on the surrounding skin
• Can remain in place for up to 7 days (depending on the condition of the wound)
