NeoBar
NeoBar® is used to secure endotracheal tubes in newborns. With its skin-friendly hydrocolloid attachments, it is extra gentle on the baby's skin while securely fixing the ET tube. It is attached in front of the ear, where the skin moves the least. A curved support extends over the baby's face, with a narrow plate in the center where the ET tube is secured. In an emergency, the curved support can be easily cut at one of the attachment points. Since the ET tube is fixed to the central plate of the NeoBar®, the tape is not affected by oral secretions, and the baby's face remains fully visible at all times. During tube changes or adjustments, the skin is protected, helping to prevent skin damage. The hydrocolloid attachments can be removed with lukewarm water, leaving no residue on the skin. NeoBar® is individually packaged, available in various sizes, and color-coded.
