Mixing Sets / Spike
We offer several varieties of mixing sets, all designed to reduce spillage and exposure during the preparation and administration of toxic drugs such as antibiotics. The mixing sets are available in a variety of lengths, with or without 3-way stopcock and with one or more spikes. In order to further reduce the risk of exposure to toxic drugs during the preparation, administration and transportation, we recommend the use of a closed male luer adaptor, which is only activated upon connection to the female luer-lock or needle-free connector.
Mixing Set 180cm, needle-free connector, PVC-free
• Roller clamp intended to ensure consistent and safe infusion rate
• Spike without silicone to enable safe connection to infusion bag/bottle/vial
• Liquid filter of 15μm and spike with air filter of 0,2μm
• Needle-free connector enables flushing after administration
• Flowstop with hydrophobic filter designed to simplify priming and reduce the risk of leakage and contamination
